Got to be starting something…..
“What do you mean that’s the end?” so said a couple of visitors at the end of our closing event last night. The disappointment was tangible. They’d only come today and had been hoping to come back to participate in all the activities. Sad in a way but surely also a great mark of success?
A Time & A Place Opening Night
Yesterday was the opening night where we got to try out our activities with family and friends. I was very nervous about whether people would engage with the Subvertising – RE:Advertise project but was absolutely delighted when we got over 20 responses in one night! Cool Collaboration
Having pitched our initial ideas to each other a fellow artist was particularly interested in my idea and quickly we found really synergy between us. The long Friday
In a brief moment of freedom the artists tried to set fire to the gallery. Asked to ‘fill’ the gallery in just one hour this was our response. It completely transformed the ‘white cube’ aesthetic – making the space relaxing and contemplative by altering the light levels & changing the atmosphere.
